Alex's Paper Airplanes
July 12, 2007
Every kid loves paper airplanes. Most adults do, too. We all grew up folding sheets of paper we tore out of our Big Chief tablets and folding them into simple darts that would streak across the schoolroom.
Paper airplanes are extremely inexpensive, and some amazingly complex designs can be mastered with a little practice.
But you need some basic plans for construction. That's where today's FamilyFirst site can be of great assistance.
It's called Alex's Paper Airplanes.
Alex, a Brit, has collected some amazing airplanes and made their construction simple for you to follow. From a mighty cool little helicopter that can be made with a strip of paper and a pair of scissors in about thirty seconds to more complicated origami patterns, you'll have fun creating these flying machines.
Not all of them fly through the air. Build the amazing paper rocket and watch it streak across a sink full of water.
So have fun, and amaze your cubicle mates!
