Christmas on Prince Edward Island

Today we visit as site that is best remembered as the location for several childern's books, and a popular television show. But the season of Chrismas is celebrated here, with local traditions and customs.

The site is called Christmas on Prince Edward Island, know as the setting for the "Anne of Green Gables" books, and the "Road to Avonlea" television series. Christmas is a magical time of year here on the Island. The snow has begun to fall, homes are ablaze with the lights of the season, and, at schools and churches across the Island, children and adults alike are preparing for the many choirs, plays, and other events that will soon come to life.

There is a lot to see and do here, so plan on spending some time with the wonderful folk on PEI. You will have a wonderful time.
