Danger Rangers

For his age, he's wise
He's got his mother's eyes
There's gladness in his heart
He's young and he's wild
My only prayer is, if I can't be there,
Lord, protect my child

Bob Dylan

We parents worry ourself sick about our kids. There are so many things that might happen to them.

Well, we do our best to protect them and educate them about the various dangers that are out there. And we gratefully accept any help we can get in doing so.

Today's FamilyFirst site is dedicated to making your children safety-conscious. It's the official site of the Danger Rangers. Haven't heard of them? Here's their mission:

The Danger Rangers is the first award-winning, animated television series whose cast of animal characters, action-adventure stories, comedy and catchy songs empower children to make better safety decisions.

If our kids are aware of avoiding accidents, that's one less worry for us parents.

The Danger Rangers make it fun for your kids top learn how to avoid accidents. Led by Sully the sea lion, the Rangers show your kids that being safe doesn't cut back on the fun one bit. Kitty is the brains behind the organization who has instant access to the Danger Rangers library where every safety fact can be found.

Of course the wannabe Fallbot is the one I can relate to. He would love to join up, but he keeps ignoring safety rules and getting into nasty accidents! It's okay, though, he's indestructible.

So let your kids have fun at today's Flash-loaded FamilyFirst site. Their safety-consciousness will be enhanced as a happy result.

I wish this non-profit would stop calling my house twice a day every day for a donation. The caller keeps telling me my wife inquired about this, and he is a liar! I would normally support such an organisation, but its practices of collecting donations are as dishonest and deplorable as the programs they condemn. Is it to much to ask that these organizations that promote morality, practice it themselves, or are they participating in some sort of moral relitivism. I'm sorry if you need money but please leave me and my family alone, call off your attack dog telemarketers and regain some dignity for Gods sake!

As CEO of Educational Adventures, LLC - the parent company of Danger Rangers, I can assure you that NOBODY from our organization has ever called ANYONE for donations.

We are a socially minded for profit company and soliciting via the telephone for donations is not and never has been a part of what we do!

I would suggest that prior to posting you get your facts straight.
