Decor Next Door

As regular readers know, I've been struggling with a mighty remodel for nearly a year now. There's a dim light at the end of the tunnel, I'm happy to say. But it's still a ways off.

With that in mind, today's FamilyFirst site is all about my wife's specialty: decorating.

It's called decor Next Door. Here's their mission:

You can get professional advice and ideas. Post a photo of your home -- a view, an object, or a room in need of improvement. You can show off your stuff. Stuff like your latest splurge, your brand-new redesign, or the room you just painted. You can see inside other people's houses. Using the Explore page and tag search, you can find hundreds of pictures of exactly what you were looking for. Even better, you might find exactly what you weren't looking for.

The site has a bit of attitude that I think you'll like. They're smart about decorating, and they know it.

You'll need to join for free if you want to fully explore the site. Don't worry, it's quick and easy.

Once you join, you have access to all sorts of rooms to check out and rate. The ideas flow freely, you just might find the scheme you were looking for.

Or,. Perhaps you have created a decorative masterpiece yourself. If so, get your photos and comments uploaded, and let the designers have a look.

There are amateur and professional designers here. If you're a pro, you can join as one and get your own page outlining your business, again free, as I understand.
