Dial B for Blogger

DC Comics circa 1967 were among the most gorgeous publications ever foisted upon the public. That checker box pattern across the front page header has to be seen to be believed.
Alas, that checker box disappeared in 1968. But it lives on in today's amazing, nostalgic, fun FamilyFirst pick: Dial B for Blogger.
If you're an old goat like me, you might remember a DC comic from the psychedelic era called Dial H for Hero. It was a ripoff of the cinematic classic Dial M for Murder. Well, a ripoff of a ripoff is okay in my book.
Dial B for Blogger presents lots of commentary and excellent writing and graphics in a world where that glorious checker topped header is frozen in time.
If you're a Boomer who read twelve cent comic books in your local corner grocery circa 1967, you will love this site.
If you're of any younger generation, you will also love its current pop-culture references.
So savor a graphics-heavy (my apologies, dial-up users) but absolutely entertaining site: Dial B for Blogger.
