Have you seen Erin Brockovich?

No, no, not the movie, ERIN BROCKOVICH? The blogger?

Erin Brockovich was based on a real person named Erin Brockovich. And while the movie took artistic liberties, as movies do, it was still largely true to life.

Well, after the movie's success, the REAL Erin Brockovich decided to become a blogger and fight for causes that were worth fighting for. And that's what she's doing at today's FamilyFirst site: The Brockovich Report.

Here's Erin's mission in her own words:

I am an advocate for awareness, the truth, and a person's right to know. I believe that in the absence of the truth, all of us stand helpless to defend ourselves, our families and our health, which is the greatest gift we have. As with everything, some people always go too far, too far to the right, too far to the left, and this is true of environmentalism and now, in many instances, our issues fall on a deaf ear.

I think you may as be as fascinated by PG&E's nemesis as much as I was. She seems like a very down-to-earth person who is looking out for mothers. And she's still sticking it to massive corporations who are stepping on regular joes.
