Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality
February 12, 2008
We've all seen the mouth-watering ads for fast food. The burgers, burritos, sandwiches, and salads look too good to be true.
There's a simple explanation. They ARE.
Photographers spend hours setting up the perfect ambiance for a perfectly-made fast food item to look its immaculate best.
But when you drive up to the window, the restaurant employee doesn't exactly take the same time to prepare your order.
Today's FamilyFirst pick is entitled Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality. You will see photographs of the food items as advertised, and the real thing.
Let me tell you, letdown doesn't begin to describe what you will experience.
That Big Mac that looks several inches high? Well, you'll see a more familiar specimen that looks rather . . . sad.
Such is the case with the rest of the offerings. Truth in advertising? I think not.
