Firefox Facts

OK, just the facts, ma'am.

The facts are these: Firefox rocks. It has also taken back a big chunk of the web browsing that Internet Explorer stole away beginning in 1995.

Prior to that, we either used Mozilla, Netscape, or even AOL's browser.

But Ie was packaged into Windows 95 and subsequent versions of the OS, and the rest was history. The browser war was quickly fought and won.

NOT SO FAST!

There have always been players that have hung in there. Opera has a devoted following. There are still those who use Netscape, in its venerable glory.

But there is also Firefox!

Looking at the March statistics for my irememberjfk.com Boomer nostalgia blog, I see that 64% of my visitors were using IE. Firefox is up to 25.3% That's over 1/4 of the web browsers out there!

My demographic is primarily over the age of 40. That means Firefox is a big hit among mainstream, non-technical users.

Today's FamilyFirst pick is Firefox Facts. Firefox users can gets lots of hel0p and tips for making their already enhanced browsing experience even better.

And if you still haven't given this open sourced, standards-obeying browser a try, well, read up on the benefits and give it some serious thought!

I agree. I enjoy using Firefox, it is easy to use, very user friendly and it is obvious that the developers try their best to offer what the users want. I truly recommend it to be used when viewing this site. ( http://sewhaa.com )
