Firehouse.com

Growing up, I wanted to be a fireman. I remember watching an old syndicated show called "Rescue 8", and pretended to fight fires and save buildings and rescue cats out of trees. But somehow I never got to be one. There are probably thousands of people who had the same dream. But our live took us in different paths, and not all became firemen.
But thanks to today's Family First Site, you can read about the life of a firefighter. It is called Firehouse.com, and is a professional publication that is written by firefighters for firefighters. It is a very accurate picture of what it means to put your life on the line everyday, running into burning buildings. But there is more to being a professional firefighter these days than just putting out fires. Knowledge of chemicals, structures, legislation, medical issues, all make it a very tough job.
So hop on over to this web site, and look at what our firefighters are up to. You may be surprised at the variety involved in their jobs.
