Five Mysterious Historical Artifacts

OK, I'm filing today's FamilyFirst pick under "History", although the veracity of the claims made here are completely open to question by me.

History, or pseudo-history?

You decide.

The premise: five sets of objects have been found which are historically paradoxical.

For instance, a metallic hammer with a wooden handle.

Embedded in sandstone which is many millions of years old.

What the .... ?

Being a huge fan of Poul Anderson's Time Police SF series, it makes me wonder: did a time traveler accidentally leave an implement in the Cambrian period?

The other objects are just as puzzling.
