GCFL.net

Man, I've been in classes all day long all week long (geek training), and I'm ready for some laughs!

Of course, there's lots of humor all over the web, but I have to find some nice, family-sfafe stuff \for our subscribers.

Well, mission accomplished. Today's FamilyFirst pick is GCFL.net. That stands for Good Clean Funnies List. Here's their mission:

You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing! GCFL is an acronym for the Good, Clean Funnies List. GCFL.net is a web page and mailing list for distributing one GOOD, CLEAN joke a day, five days a week, for free! We hope you will enjoy a joke in the morning before the start of your day that you will want to share with your family and friends. If you like your email box filled with jokes both clean and rated, you should join any one of the other humor lists. However, if you want only one joke a day (no more than five per week) that are clean enough to share with your family and friends, GCFL.net is the list for you.

So what kind of humor can you find here? Factoids like A grenade thrown into a kitchen in France would result in Linoleum Blownapart. Accounts like after buying her kids a pet hamster, after they PROMISED they would take care of it, Mom, as usual, ended up with the responsibility. One evening, exasperated, she asked them, "How many times do you think that hamster would have died if I hadn't looked after it?" After a moment, her youngest son replied quizzically, "Once?" And though-provoking questions like how do the elk know they're supposed to cross at the "Elk Crossing" signs?

You get the idea. Now go visit the site.
