Well, today, we pay homage to innovators who have come up with hi-tech ways to extract more oil from the ground at less expense. As world stockpiles of oil reach their limits, it's important that as much oil as possible is harvested.

The company is called Grifco International Inc. Here's their mission:

"Grifco International Inc. is a leading provider of oil and gas services equipment, specializing in the conception, design, and development of tools for the coil tubing, wire line, and snubbing industry throughout the US, China, Mexico and South America."

They manufacture technologically advanced tools, including a corrosion inhibitor tool that has been successful on the Gulf coast and internationally. A double accelerator jar that assists in pumping oil from great depths, a double flapper check valve that is used in situations where the operator wishes to eliminate the flow or potential flow back through the work string while running or retrieving pipe under pressure, and a skid-mounted vacuum system that makes cleaning up oil spills much more efficient.

I know, it's all pretty much slide rule territory, but the fact is that I am impressed enough with what Grifco is doing that I have become an investor.

Companies like Grifco are whom we depend on as oil supplies run lower. We've grown used to being able to heat our homes, jump in our vehicles and drive, and use plastic items to make our lives easier. It's minds like those behind this one that will allow us to continue to do so.
