How To Stop Ads
March 22, 2005

I remember the good old days of the Internet. The days when you could surf to as many sites as you like, and the only problems you ran into were slow connection speeds and the occassional site that was down. As technology increased our surfing capabilities, other problems arose. One of the technologies I have come to dislike is called adware. It also has other names, such as spyware, but the bottom line is that I consider it an invasion of my cyber privacy. But there is hope, as the subject of today's Family First Site shows.
The major problem I have with ad/spyware is that the majority of it is installed on my computer without my knowledge or permission. It is like having someone coming into your house uninvited, and staying for as long as they like, using your phone, watching the television, you know the feeling. I understand the concept of ad/spyware, I just don't like it. It's rude! But the same technology that brought it about is now being used to prevent it. There is a product called Noadware, and is available via computer download. A trial version is available to show users just how effective it is. To date, there have been over 26 million downloads by people in over 100 countries.
What harm does having ad/spyware on your computer cause. Well, those programs are software made by publishers that allow them to snoop on your browsing activity, invade your privacy, and flood you with those horrible popup ads. If you are like most users on the internet, chances are you are probably infected with these applications. That is why programs such as Noadware were developed. If you think your computer is free from these programs, take a second look using the demo version, and you will be surprised. I was amazed when I ran it on mine, because I thought had already taken precautions against them. I was wrong.
So stop by the site, read the testimonials and reveiws, and see how successful this program has been. I'm sure you will want to try it and use it.
