I Remember JFK
November 09, 2006
OK, it's time for a drum roll . . .
A couple of days ago, I hinted at a site I would be building for Baby Boomers. Well, here it is!
The site is called irememberjfk.com. Here's its premise:
Are you old enough to remember JFK's assasination? For many of us, the worldshaking event was our first coherent memory. If you can recall that sad day, you will have a wonderful time here perusing memory-jogging thoughts by me, Ron Enderland, as well as our reader comments. And if you were born a bit too late? No problem, you will likely recognize many of the memories that will be discussed here.
The content is just a bit light, because this site didn't exist two days ago. However, I'll be adding a new reminiscence every day, if possible. This FamilyFirst gig shows I'm capable of that ;-).
Early articles include pieces on Red Skelton, dippy birds, the Huntley-Brinkley Report, Tonka bulldozers, and the movie Bonny and Clyde.
Use the comments feature to death. I'm eager to hear from you! And I want to know what I should talk about next.
Current topics are TV, Movies, Gadgets, Toys, News, and Food. Look for more to be added in the future.
So enjoy my reminiscences, and look for a new one every day!
