Kids Love A Mystery
February 22, 2001
Puzzles are a great way to help minds develop. The mental exercise of solving them is a good way to help young people learn to use cognitive thinking skills, as well as trying their hand at problem solving. Mystery stories have long been an entertaining source of puzzles, some more than others have.
Todays Famsite, Kids Love a Mystery, is a site that is dedicated to kids and mystery stories (what else?). Here children can read and participate in online stories and games that are designed to entertain, and yet develop their minds. There are Chillers, Bafflers, Magic, and Solve-its. There is even an area that a visitor can try writing his or her own story. In the parent's area, the emphasis is on the educational value of the stories, as well as some interesting things for adults.
So if you'd like to curl up with your computer tonight and enjoy a good mystery then this site is a good one for you. Have a nice stop here.
