KIDZ

In searching for today's Family Site, I didn't have to go any further than WorldVillage's own back yard. I had not been to this site in quite a while, and was totally impressed by quality of work that had been done there. I think you will be also.

The site I am referring to is called KIDZ, and is located just a few mouse clicks away from where you are reading this. It is the root of what WorldVillage stands for, safe, non-threatening place where your child can surf the net, and you as a parent can have the peace of mind that none of the material they come across is offensive. There are a variety of hosts to escort your children around. There are Jerry and Beth for the pre-teen and teenagers, and Billy and Sarah Bear for the preschool and elementary age visitors. There is such a variety of activity here it would be impossible to describe them in a short paragraph. But some of my favorites were The Bubble Gum Wadder (a newsletter of sorts, to keep up with what's new), Puzzles (of all sorts), Comics (provided by Uncle Ron), and Fun & Games (20 online activities with more being added). Your child can also visit the KIDZ Clubhouse, and become a KIDZ club member, and receive a monthly newsletter.

So check this out, it is only a couple of clicks away, and will be worth a visit. Better yet, call your child or children and let them discover the KIDZ club. It will be a treat watching them discover it for themselves.
