Lama Desert Tours.
September 19, 2007
You're never too old to learn something. For instance, I assumed that Dubai made their money the same way all those other sand republics did: by gouging the rest of us with overpriced oil. Not so. Dubai's GNP is 95% supplied by tourism.
That makes me view the nation differently than, say, Saudi Arabia.
With that, I present today's FamilyFirst site: Lama Desert Tours.
Lama comes highly recommended by American tourists who have ventured over to Dubai. They offer first-class fun-in-the-desert tours. And the desert is a very cool (well, not literally!) place to go. Every time I go to Las Vegas for geek conventions, I laways go out of town and enjoy the solitude of the desert world.
Besides safaris, they also offer fishing trips, dhow cruises, and city tours.
You may never visit Dubai, but it's still fun to check out how folks do things in far-flung corners of the world.
