Linux Gamers' Game List
February 26, 2008
Okay, let's review:
You have to run Windows because you need Office.
Ubuntu comes preinstalled with Open Office, other distros can easily have it added.
You have to run Windows because you want to easily share files and printers.
NOBODY shares files and printers easier than Linux!
Okay, here's the coup de grace: You have to run Windows because you like playing games, LOTS of games.
Well, just have a look at today's FamilyFirst pick. it's Linux Gamers' list of Linux games.
Holy cow!
There are literally HUNDREDS of games that run on Linux!
Most of them are absolutely free, too.
There are arcade games, simulations, role-playing, action, aircraft, puzzles, strategy, you name it.
And they all run on Linux.
NOW, why do you have to run Windows?

Thanks for the info. I was always curious if linux had games to use without wine. It would be nice to see big companies make games for linux. Some of the links on that site are dead though. Is there a newer updated list out there? Again thanks for the info
