MapQuest

April 11, 1997

When was the last time you were in the jungle, and got lost? Only yesterday, you say. Well, if you had today's program, you may have gotten home a lot sooner.

The site is called MapQuest, and is a site that can be used to find addresses in just about any corner of the world. If you are using it in the United States, it is possible to get driving directions between any two points. You can also make a personalized map, and use an interactive atlas. And best of all, it is free! The results are accurate as well. I used the addresses of a house I grew up in 30 years ago, and my dad's current address in the country in Southern Oregon. Both were located. There is also a zoom function, allowing the amount of detail on the map to vary according to the user's desire.

Bottom line, this is an excellent site to visit, and bookmark. It has a lot of options that can be used for both business and personal use. Enjoy your time here.
