Marvel Comics

marvel.jpgGrowing up in the 60's, comic books were a mainstay of American culture. The golden age had passed, but they were still a great source of entertainment. I can remember waiting for the next shipment of them at our neighborhood store, so I could see what Spiderman or Sgt. Fury or Iron Man was up to. It was a good time to be a kid. Today's generation of youngsters can still have the same excitement, as today's Family First site shows.

The site today is a look at Marvel Comics, the home of some of the greatest super heroes to ever grace the pages of comics or the Sunday funnies. At this site, one can see what is going on in Marvel land, see if Spidey is still slinging webs, and what is the driving force behind the X-men? You can also see what the current releases are, as well as some online adventures in the Marvel Zone. You can arrange for home delivery of those latest issues, just to ensure that you don't miss one. With the success of the Spiderman and X-Men movies, more and more Marvel Comics are making the transition to the big screen. Daredevil and Hulk have been featured, and today it was announced that the Fantastic Four would debut on July 1st, 2005. It's a great time to start catching up on your comic book reading.

This is a great site for a great leader in the comic book industry, one that is worthy of a bookmark, and many return visits. Enjoy your stop here today.
