Math Baseball

math_baseball.jpgWhen I was in school, the one subject that I HATED was math. There just wasn't anything the least bit interesting about putting numbers together, taking them away, etc. etc.

Well, had the internet been around way back in the 60's and 70's, I might have taken a little better to arithmetic with a little help from Math Baseball!

Today's FamilyFirst site makes it fun for kids to solve math problems. By doing so, they score hits! The tougher the problem, the more “bases” a correct answer is worth.

You select your problem difficulty. Then you “swing.” Be careful, though. Three outs, and the game is over.

There is a two-player mode, as well. That should make for some intense competition!

After a few rounds of baseball, you might click on the Funbrain link and check out what other games are offered. Besides Math Baseball, you can play Math Brain,
Stay Afloat, Dare to be Square, Grammar Gorillas, MathCar Racing, Where is That?, One False Move, Connect the Dots, and visit the Funbrain Arcade.

Of course, you won't want to miss out on drawing a crazy good cartoon, either!

So have lots of fun at today's FamilyFirst site. And plan on having fun learning something!
