Okay, let me begin by stating that I'll never know what it means to be a mother. But then again, you moms out there will never know the special feelings of fatherhood, so we're even.

But the fact is that the whole family experience is complicated. It's joyful, terrifying, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm very proud to have a couple of kids running around in the world who, despite all odds, manage to look like me, and yet be gorgeous!
