Mother's Day on the Net
May 09, 1998
Here it is, the day of all days, as far as our mothers are concerned. There is not a viewer out there who does not owe something to their mother, whether it be the time she was there to care for you when you were sick, or when your were hurt, or when you were happy. It is fitting that we spend this entire weekend at a site dedicated to Mom.
The site is called Mother's Day on the Net, and while it would be a nice place for mom to visit, it is a site that is dedicated to families as well as her. Here you can learn some of the history and tradition of the holiday, as well as the origins of it. There are links to other sites, as well as poems, movies, coloring activities for children, and a lot of other items too numerous to mention.
So grab a slab of that good old apple pie, and surf on over to this site of the day. It will help you to appreciate our mother more (if that is possible). Happy Mother's Day.
