Museum of Fred.com
September 15, 2005

What attracted me to today's Family First Site at first was the title. It sounded kinda cool. But now that I have visited the site, and spent more and more time exploring it, it grew on me. Hopefully you will have the same cyber experience.
The site is called Museum of Fred. Sounds kind of ordinary, right. But the concept behind it is what the Internet is all about. In the words of the creator of this site it is "a time capsule, a place where the past is preserved for the future. Museums are among the few institutions that we have that can provide us with continuity in this ever-changing world. I hope to someday house my collection in an actual building, but museums are expensive to build and maintain. Fortunately, the Internet allows me to share these important works of art with you. Before the Internet only the wealthy could afford museums but now anyone can have a museum". Here you can view some interesting paintings, not by famous artists but by every day people. From landscapes to wild animals to boats, it is a most unique collection of artwork.
This site shows the power of the Internet, and the potential it has. This is a great site to share with a friend, and would be a great ice breaker at a party. Try it out this weekend!
