Neil Young - Prairie Wind

Today’s site is called Neil Young – Prairie Wind. It’s the official site announcing the release of Neil’s latest album. You can stream all of the songs from the album for free here!

Neil Young is the type of musical genius that not every generation is fortunate enough to experience. Like Mozart, Chopin, Stephen Foster, Scott Joplin, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and just a few others, he epitomizes a timeless talent.

Hi last album, Greendale, split his audience. Many fans (myself included) appreciated his brilliance. Many others dismissed this biographical description of a fictional northern California town as too eccentric. However, I suspect that Prairie Wind will be recognized by the majority as his best work since 1989’s Freedom. It has a country overtone, but not so much as 1985’s Old Ways. Listen to This Old Guitar, you’ll dig what I mean. Emmylou Harris always sounds good backing him up.
