Odyssey

February 20, 2001

Watching television can present a challenge in this day and age. What passes for entertainment is not very family friendly to say the least. But there are alternatives out there, if you know where to look. Today's FamSite has found one for you, and, to paraphrase Rod Serling, it is submitted for your approval.

The site is called Odyssey, and is the online presence for a television network that works to bring you home. It is a 24-hour-a-day cable network that provides high quality family entertainment. It draws from a library of over 4000 hours of programming, with nearly 200 Emmy Awards among them. You can view such quality shows as "Road to Avonela", "Lonesome Dove", "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman", as well as popular theatrical films. They also showcase original series and programs such as "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", "America", and "Sunday Dinner". There is also a wide variety of spiritual programming as well.

So stop over and find out what is showing on the Odyssey Network. If you don't have it, be sure to contact your cable or satellite operator. It is a wonderful place to let you children watch television and not worry about what they are watching.
