Papa Doo Run Run

It has been a couple of years since we last checked in with the subjects of today's FamSite, so I thought since summer is truly a state of mind, a visit with one of the premier fun in the sun groups would be a great way to spend some time.

Called Papa Doo Run Run, today's FamSite is the online presence of a band by the same name. They are 5 guys who for over thirty-some years have provided quality entertainment that is appropriate for the entire family. I wouldn't hesitate to take any or all of my children to see them. Their brand of sun and surf music in the Beach Boys/Jan & Dean style are a real treat to watch. At this site you can see where and when the will be playing, sample some of their musical numbers, and a nice addition since our last visit, a news section, so you can keep up with them as they tour.

I can't say enough about the quality of this band. That is the reason I chose them to start off the Family Site of the Day Golden Oldies week. Over the next few days, we will together be visiting sites that prove that rock and roll is here to stay. What better way to celebrate summer?
