PC Magazine
March 26, 2008
Ah, the auld days.
I remember sitting in an excited frenzy back in 1993 with my shiny new PC, knowing that I was a member of an elite group known as a home PC user.
Part of the mystique was a subscription to PC Magazine.
PC has been a part of the home computer scene since the 70's. Once upon a time, they released a set of utilities on a 5 1/4" floppy included in the magazine that was as eagerly anticipated as the editorial content therein.
Those days have passed, but PCMag is still one of the most informative web sites out there for home PC owners.
Nowadays, PCMag is the home of reviews, news, rumors, and the kind of info that a geek, whether professional or amateur, would appreciate.
And I am also quite proud of the fact that they have recognized my Boomer nostalgia site as worthy of mention in a recent article.
So check out today's FamilyFirst pick, pcmag.com, the standard of what an online computer magazine should look and act like.
