PC Magazine's mp3 Player Reviews
December 28, 2006
We all love music. And it's a lot easier to take music with us than it used to be. Being an old goat, I can remember when portable music meant an eight-track player that weighed three pounds, PLUS a case full of big tapes!
Nowadays, you can carry hundreds of hours of tunes clipped to your belt. Here's to that magical musical format loved by all except record company execs: the mp3.
Today's FamilyFirst site is PC Magazine's product reviews of mp3 players.
If you're looking for a player, pop in here and see what the PC Mag folks have to say about it.
I believe I bought my first PC Magazine a month before I bought my first computer, way back in 1993. Their honest product reviews, their knowledgeable writers, and their cool utilities that used to come on an enclosed floppy made the magazine a must for PC owners back then. And while the enclosed floppy is history, it's still the premier computer publication.
Of course, now their knowledge is freely available on the web. And I heartily recommend a visit here before you pony up bucks for a portable music device.
In fact, navigate out of the music player section and browse through all of their other reviews as well. From PC's to software, they have it covered.
