These lands belong to the American people. They are ours to use! They are also available to visitors from other countries.

And there is an amazing variety of recreational activities available to do on them. Find them indexed at this impressive government website.

Finding your perfect public land for the recreational activities you desire is easy! For instance, you can search by state on a clickable map. Or, you can search by activity.

Are you looking for a place to ride your ATV? Clicking on the Off-Highway Vehicle Access link brings up another US map. Now, clicking on a state brings up ONLY choices for off-road riding. Cool, huh?

No matter what outdoor activity you're looking for, you will probably find lots of links to publicly-owned land websites where you can get details on how to get to the area, what specific things are available there (activities, lodging, etc.), rates, if applicable, and maps guiding you there.
