Retro Planet

Today's FamilyFirst site was picked because it filled a very basic need, one that I couldn't find a solution to anywhere else.
A year ago, we invested a chunk of change into a massive house remodel. We each got our own favorite things. Briana got a shiny new kitchen, and two new bathrooms. The old man got a harvest gold kegarator (not second hand, more like fourth or fifth) for 240 bucks.
A kegarator, in case you are unfamiliar with the term, is a refrigerator equipped with plumbing to allow the placement of a keg of beer inside, with an outside tap to draw it off.
It's ugly, it makes lots of strange noises when the 30-year-old compressor runs, and I absolutely love it. In fact, as I pen this piece, I'm enjoying a draw of delicious Foster's Lager at the price of Keystone.
Anyhow, one thing I really wanted for the garage that houses the yellow beast was a bottle opener that screws to the wall.
I searched all over my local stores for the familiar piece of Americana that used to grace practically every corner grocery. No go.
Then, stumbled into Retro Planet. They had a variety of them top choose from, for very reasonable prices. I ended up ordering a classic Coca-Cola opener delivered to my home via priority mail for less than thirteen bucks altogether.
They also have everything else you can imagine that's retro, including furniture, signs, prints, even jukeboxes.
So pop in, and take a trip back in time.
