Scrubs
January 25, 2006
What's the funniest show on TV? What's the lone bright spot in NBC's otherwise dismal sitcom situation? What is perhaps the only intelligently-written sitcom out there?
The answer to all three questions is Scrubs!
Today's FamilyFirst site is Scrubs' official home on the web. It's loaded with stuff Scrubs fans will love, including episode storylines, wallpaper (the bunch racing gurneys is now on my desktop), bios of the castmembers, lists of the cool music played on the episodes, and tons more.
Play a game of Code Blue to see if you have what it takes to wear a set of your own scrubs. Think you could be a doctor? Hmm, we'll see after the game is over.
Take a look at the set sketches, an important part of set design. These sketches are penciled up and sets are built accordingly. It's fascinating stuff.
If you register at the site, you'll have access to message boards and members-only areas.
Also, check out Scrubs Rounds. It's a castmember answering questions posed by fans. At presstime, it was Donald Faison, who, as any fan knows, is Turk, bald-headed-surgeon par excellence.
So have a blast at today's FamilyFirst site. And don't forget to tune in Tuesday nights for the funniest show on television!

While this may be a funny sitcom, I'm a little surprised to see it on your site. It's definitely not what I'd call "family friendly". I know I wouldn't let my 12 & 13 year old boys watch it.
I agree, Kim, that not all episodes are family-friendly. We tivo them on Tuesday and I review them before letting my son watch them. However, the site is decidedly family-friendly. :-)
I don't see how a pro-abortion episode with a three year old repeating the phrase, "My mommy had an abortion," is family-friendly. I was a fan, but the episode was disgusting. What should have been a sweet episode about Carla having her baby, turned into a pro-abortion piece of a propaganda.
I agree with Serena!
I was a huge fan of Scrubs until that episode! Sitcom or not, I think reducing the decision on whether or not to have an abortion, to a flip of a coin is completely distasteful and far beyond the bounds of 'comedy!' (Irrespective of what ones attitudes are on abortion) Certainly NOT family viewing in my opinion !
what is robert romanos favourite hot dish?
Wow.. you people need to lighten up. Abortion is awesome! Why wouldn't you let your 13 year old kids watch the show? I can guarantee that they hear worse things at school, and possibly even at church. Let them grow up, or they will learn to resent you for keeping them in your god fearing little protective mommy shell...unless you are TRYING to raise naive, useless, weak little boys.
