Secrets Unveiled

The world is made up of all sorts of people, who believe all sorts of different things.

One of the most provocative demonstrations of belief is a Muslim woman decked out in al niqab, which is the Islamic full face covering.

When one encounters a woman clad in the traditional attire, a reaction of some sort is nearly always felt by the observer.

Some stare. Some deliberately look away. And some feel the need to say something insulting.

Today's FamilyFirst pick is called Secrets Unveiled. It's an article from The Australian about a woman who was born in Australia, a sixth-generation Aussie.

She chose, late in life, to adopt traditional Islam as her religion.

But when she walks down the street in her niqab, she is the constant target of abusive remarks.

Her tormentors are invariably shocked when a voice comes from behind the veil to answer their jabs, and it's carrying a thick Aussie accent.

The site will make you stop and think about human relationships.
