Ever heard of "friendly spam?"

Friendly spam is what well-meaning friends, family, and acquaintances send you.

You know what I'm talking about, stuff with about twenty arrows to the left of the message, because a new arrow gets added every time the message is forwarded yet again.

And it's all the same stuff: pictures of cute kittens, or messages claiming that Microsoft will pay you for every email you forward them (Microsoft is after YOUR money, not the other way around!), or a "believe it or not" thing about Mars being brighter than the full moon on a certain date (I don't believe it)...

You don't want to hurt dear Aunt Sally's feelings. You don't want to hack your boss off. You don't want to risk an otherwise good friendship.

What do you do?

Easy. You go to today's FamilyFirst pick and send an anonymous, friendly request to "cease and desist."

It's really cool, and quite tactful. Check it out.
