I often joke with my manager about finding another job, one that would pay me as much as I make now, but I would only have to work half as much. He tells me why would I want to work twice as hard as I am now. I THINK he is kidding (I hope he knows I'm only kidding!). But I keep thinking, there has to be an easier way to make a living, especially in this technological age. Lo and behold, today I have come across a way that will let me use the Internet to help make some money. That site is the focus of today's Family First Site.
The name of the site is SuperAffiliateHandbook.com. It describes how to turn the Internet into a source for part- or full-time income. The profit potential of the Internet is growing at an amazing rate. The list of people who can benefit from becoming involved in cyber commerce is getting longer every minute. An affiliate marketing business is perfect for anyone who has some spare time, and a desire to earn some extra income. If someone is ready to start enjoying a financially independent life by working from home on their computer, then this is the right product for them.
There is a lot of information on this site, with quite a few testimonials from satisfied users (of whom I most likely become one). The book outlines the strategies on establishing a successful affiliate relationship with other companies (such as Barnes & Noble, Dell, SONY, PetSmart, and others). It not only tells you the right things to do, it also tells users what not to do, and what some of the pitfalls of this type of business are. The author, Rosalind Gardner, has been sharing this information for many years, and has been quite successful. She gives links to some of her bank statements as proof. In one year (2002), she earned $436,797.00.
If you are looking to change your job, or your lifestyle, this may be a potentially lucrative venture for you. The cost of the information is reasonable, given the potential profit you can make off of it. But it does come with a 90-Day Risk Free Guarantee, so what have you got to lose?

I'm writing this because I want to both signal where I'm thinking in terms of my own projects, and because I'm also fed up sifting through dozens of articles a day by everybody in the industry from the Western US to the East of Asia all blaming the dire position of news today on a lack of subscription models. I think there is a future for online news, but I suspect it will need the current generation of newspapers to go bust for the new models to successfully emerge.
The main webpage for The Super Affiliate Handbook brings up a valid point. There are some people who will say that there is no money to be made by selling other peoples products online. I must agree with Rosalind Gardner when she says "The truth is you can make INCREDIBLE MONEY online by promoting ONLY affiliate programs.
Everyone knows that Google and the other search engines look at the number of inbound links you have going to your site as one of the factors determining your website's search rankings. There are many ways to acquire more inbound links to your site, but the one that I find works well, and is enjoyable, is blog commenting.
