in early november i join this surveyclub program in the anticipation to either participate in some surveys to voice my opinion and eventually to get involved with paid surveys. all i ever got out of this fiasco is filling out survey's and then receiving numerous phonecalls from business WHO WANT TO SELL ME SOMETHING, or claimed that i inquired about my interest in their services. someone actually send me a dvd movie which i did not order and billed me for it. is everything on the internet a scam now. all i wanted is to make a few extra bucks to support my ill husband for a little spending money

This is a scam, they nevery pay you a dime!!!! You can try but you will never see any money out of them and to top it off there is a Survey Club that hires you as a secret shopper and then after everything appears to be in order they proceed to have you think you are working to monitor the practices of Money Gram Services and then after they send you a check from a legitimate Credit UNion and you have this cleared or okayed by your bank and you go thru with the assignment they proceed to put a stop payment on the check and then you are into the bank for a lot of money and even after you have called all the BBB and Attorney General and the Credit Union(they are probably in on it) they stick you for an amount of money that is huge and you can not afford and you lose your bank account if you can not replace the funds and when I get a chance to hunt this man down he will beg me to end his life.
So he has Monday Morning to get these funds back to my bank and pay restitution for the fees and my inconvenience that he has put me thru, I will call every state in this country and talk to every Attorney General, Every BBB in Every State and find out how to press charges against this person and have him prosecuted and his cohorts as well. I was truly led to understand this is legitimate and I have been seriously harmed!!!!!! Feel free to send comments and let me know if this has happened to you.
    Thank you

As per previous posting if you want to comment Please do and let me know if this has happened to any of you Please let me know
    Thanks

thank - you so much for this Lynn !!!

I have just got the same thing as well, Letter and a cheque to be paid through Money Gramm.Calling the aust. number but busy all day long. Called the USA # then I was directed from there what to do.Telling me to cash the cheque and take my training cost then trasfer the couple of Gran overseass to any name I wish to put.-- UUMM sounds so fishy !!! Telling me to send the money to any name I wish to or think about. When questioned- should'nt there be a genuine person there I should send it to ? He replied does'nt really matter, so long as I quickly give him the transfer receipt # its ok.He even tell me to put my same surname to the recipient.Oh My God !!! I asked what will be the reason for sending this cash - He replied just say you're sending it to a relative . when asked why should I use my surname , he replied because my reason should be to a relative. I than said that I feel so septicle about this - He said if you wish you can cancell.
Thanks so much again for your comments - for this has stopped me from any further steps.

I think online surveys are a waste of time!
I signed up for www.surveysavvy.com and so far only only one (1) survey. I didn't get anything for my time.

  18. Steve on July 2, 2009 02:40 PM

To those of you that got scammed by being asked to become a 'secret shopper' and to send money through Money Gram services....definitely a scam.

Some one was using the companies name to pull their scam because of the companies popularity. If you log onto their real site (www.surveyclub.com), you will see they have a "scam alert" message posted right on their site.

  19. Lynne on July 3, 2009 07:21 PM

I made the mistake of signing up with these thieves. I now get no less than 150 pieces of useless junk mail a day! They sold my info to EVERYONE! Don't make the same mistake.

It may be good for some, but is terrible for others.Due to my experience with them, I give them a big thumbs down. I'm not one to label a place a scam due to a bad experience, because I've had great experiences with sites that people have bashed for one reason or another. It's just not for me

I've been thinking of joining Survey Club to find out what it's about, but before (and if) I do that, I've been Googling around for reviews. I'm starting to smell a rat.
