The 5th Dimension

Television in the 1950's and 60's was a far cry from what it is today. Programming in the early days had different values to operate from than networks do today. So shows were a little bit different. Today's FamSite looks at a show that was very different for its time, but is just as fresh to watch today as it was 40 years ago.

The show I am talking about is The Twilight Zone, hosted by Rod Seriling. The site we look at today is one of the best sites saluting this program, and is called The 5th Dimension (no, definitely not the singing group). It has 485 pages, 3886 pictures, 62 sounds, and zero ads. Here you can explore every aspect of the program, from pictures on every episode, to pictures of Rod's introductions. The is a wealth of reference material here, from birthdates of the actors in all the episodes, as well as addresses where you can write them. There is a wide variety of trivia here, along with inside jokes, an archive of magazine articles relating to the show, in short, just about anything associated with the program.

So if you are a Twilight Zone fan, either casual or dyed-in-the-wool, then this is a site for you. I am sure you will find your favorite episode here, just like I did. Enjoy your visit here today, and share it with a friend.
