The Duct Tape Guys
August 08, 2005

Today's Family First Site takes a look at a site that is dedicated to one of the unsung heroes of everyday life in our country. It is both a serious and hilarious look at something that we have all come to take for granted, but wonder how we ever would have lived without it. I am talking about the great American product, duct tape.
At this site you can meet the Duct Tape Guys, whose mission in life is to promote the use of this product. Here you can learn some of the history of the tape, enter some cool contests, find dozens of uses for it (some useful, some not-so useful, some outrageous) and find out about the duct tape political party. There is a stump the duct tape guy and even a duct tape art gallery.
This is a fun site. It provides some good information about a tool that everyone has used at some time or another, and a good time is had by all. Be sure to pass this site on to a friend and enjoy your stop here today. And, oh, by the way, duct tape IS Y3K compatible (since it was Y2K compatible, you have to assume that it is Y3K as well. Never too early to start planning!).

You guys are great! I am another Duct Tape Fanatic! I would love to put your link on my website on my FUN Things page!
Bet you don't know about this use for duct tape! I have high drive sport dobermanns I compete with and train. If they get outa line. I remind them they CAN BE duct taped to the ceiling to chill out! If I had kids? Well same applies!
Thank you for such a fun site!

I go to the book store or the library often. I am usually reading something or five different books. I have been getting duct tape books periodically and a roll of duct tape to give as gifts and they are well received. Also, since it is from Door County and I can buy them in Houston, this makes it all the more better. I lived in Sturgeon Bay for 15 years up until I relocated to Houston to take care of my mother who had Alzheimers disease. I originally found out about the duct tape book from Vickie Gonzales. She used to work at Scandia Village Retirement Center. I worked there at one time also.
