The Flying Elvi

This weekend would have been the time that Elvis celebrated his 70th birthday (or did celebrate it, depending on your spin of things). Everywhere I turned, I was reminded of that. So your Family First editor thought it would be appropriate to feature a site that salutes the one and true King of Rock'n'Roll. The site is on that you will truly remember.

The site is the official site of the Fly Elvi. The Flying Elvi is a ten member skydiving team first featured in the fun filled hit movie “Honeymoon in Vegas.” They combine a spine tingling aerial skydiving performance of smoke trails, pyrotechnic fireworks, and precision maneuvers with an over-the-top entertaining stage show. Jumping from altitudes of 5,000-12,500 feet above the earth, they free-fall for up to 9,500 feet at speeds ranging from 120 to 160 miles per hour. Team members are all United States Parachute Association Pro rated skydivers with an average of over 2,000 jumps each. Having thrilled audiences at events across the country for the past nine years, these daredevils of the sky are more popular than ever, and bring a bit of nostalgia to every event as they inspire fond memories of the King himself, Elvis Presley.

Since their inception nine years ago, the “Flying ELVI” have jumped and performed at more than 300 events in 29 states. They have appeared on countless television shows here in the U.S. and around the world. Because their skydiving and stage performances are such visually spectacular events they attract media coverage of all kinds in record numbers to concerts, hotel casino events, mall openings, air shows, product launchings and events of all kinds. So “Don’t Be Cruel” and miss out on the extraordinary fun this amazing team can provide any event, or you may be marked “Return to Sender” “All Shook Up” and wind up without your “Good Luck Charm” down on lonely street at “Heartbreak Hotel” with a “Hound Dog” barking outside your window.

So the next time you look up in the sky, just remember that it might be a bird, it might be plane, it could be Superman, but it could also be the Flying Elvi. So let them be your teddy bear, and have a hugga-hunk of burning love. (And, yes, they are officially sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, so they are official).
