The Global Show-n-Tell Museum

A favorite activity when I was going to school was show and tell. It was a chance to tell friends about things that interested me, as well as showing off new things. It was class participatory, so everyone participated. My kids enjoy the same part of their schooling, so times haven’t changed all that much.

Today’s FamSite is reminiscent of those schools days, an online show and tell for cybervisitor to look at. Called the Global Show-n-Tell Museum, it is divided into several wings according to the age of the visitor. The wings are named after birds such as Condor, Bald Eagle, and Hawaiian Creeper. Each wing has drawings by children from all over the world, as well as ecological information about the bird that is featured in that wing. There is a page of links to other kids sites as well.

The Internet is making the world a smaller place to live and work. This site is one that allows visitors to find out how other children in the world live and play. Bookmark it and return often.
