The Harry Potter Automatic News Aggregator

The date is getting closer. Just over one month from now, the most popular series of books, both children's and adult's, will release the latest installment. It promises to be a major media event, one that will rival the openings of movies, with midnight parties and all the hoopla that comes with this excitement. Today's Family First site looks at a site that helps cover this upcoming excitement, and helps everyone get ready for the release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

The name of the site is The Harry Potter Automatic News Aggregator. This is a site that is dedicated to the latest breaking news about the upcoming release of Vol. 6 of the Harry Potter saga (and Book 7, as well). Some of the latest news covered include the release of the UK children's version of the book, an account of the attempted theft and sale of a couple of copies of the book, information on opening night parties (including one featuring Jim Dale, who reads the audio version of the books), and other events of an HP6-related theme.

This series of books has changed the way children read. It was responsible for making children want to learn to read, and to improve their reading skills. I can relate to that first hand, as our autistic son had no interest in reading until he heard about the Sorcerer's Stone book. It took him almost 6 months to read that book, but since then his reading ability has improved a thousand-fold, all thanks to this series of books. It is interesting to think that we are watching the creation of a new series of classic books, and to imagine how those books will be related to in the future.

So just grab your broomstick, or hook up to the floo network, and head on over to this site. You will find all the information about the new book, as well as the upcoming Thanksgiving release of the fourth movie, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". A fun time will be had by all, since I am sure He-who-must-not-be-named will not be there.
