The Magic Theater

Man has long been fascinated by magic. In ancient times, magicians claimed to use supernatural means to perform feats of magic. Today, we know it's not supernatural acts, but rather sleight-of-hand that makes magicians do seemingly impossible things.

Today's FamilyFirst site is a collection of Real videos of magicians doing their thing. The site is out to make a buck, but the free videos they offer contain an impressive amount of prestidigitation. You just KNEW that word was going to show up here sooner or later, didn't you? ;-)

It's called The Magic Theater. There are ten different videos you can watch.

The performers include Derek Dingle, coin and card expert; Aldo Colombini, who specializes in card tricks; Tony Clark, who demonstrates his Flying Knots scarf tricks; Richard Robinson, who levitates his magic wand; and Andrew Galloway, who appears as a clueless “expert” explaining the magic of the late great John Ramsay, but who actually is an accomplished magician himself.

The videos presented here are 56k quality, but still lots of fun. And the DVD's offered for sale are reasonably priced and crammed full of great magic.

So if you can't make it out to Vegas to catch many of these great tricksters doing their stuff, today's FamilyFirst site will still give you a free look at the amazing sleight-of-hand that they accomplish.

Remember, don't look at what the magician WANTS you to look at, the other hand is the one doing the real trick!
