The Million-Dollar Cookie
May 27, 2008
Imagine a cookie worth a cool million bucks.
It's no dream or fairy tale. Carolyn Gurtz of Maryland created this recipe in her home kitchen and won $1,000,000.00 (plus some more from some of the manufacturers whose products she used) for her trouble in the Pillsbury Bake-Off.
Man, that must be some heavenly-tasting cookie!
Well, as a matter of fact, you can judge for yourself just how delicious it is. Because the recipe for the cookie, which is called the Double-Delight Peanut Butter Cookie, is the subject of today's FamilyFirst pick.
The cookie is an exquisite blend of crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
It's also so simple that you don't even need a mixer.
So come on, you folks too feeble to give cooking a shot (or who have had bad luck in the past), give this easy recipe a try, and join the ranks of the rest of us who are proud to be able to take some raw ingredients and turn them into culinary delights!
