The Official Academy Awards Site

A few days ago, the nominations for the 72nd Annual Academy Awards were announced. There were a few surprises, both in who was and who was not nominated. Today's FamSite looks a site that is rich in the history of this most honored Hollywood tradition, and one of the best-known awards shows of all time.

Called The Official Academy Awards Site, here you can visit each of the 71 previous award winners, both the films and the personalities. You can view a poster of each best film winner, find out what is in (and out) of style, and view the current list of nominees. There is a special trivia section, as well as a retrospective area to view the history of the award.
