The Official site of the Champs Elysees

One of the benefits of the Internet it the ability to see things and places that you normally would not be able to otherwise visit. It is not exactly like being there, but it is better than nothing. Today's Family First Site is about a place that is world famous, and a must see on any trip to France. So grab on to your beret and away we go!

Called The Champs-Elysees, this is the online guide to one of the most noted streets in the world, and undoubtedly one of the most photographed. If you have ever seen the Arc de Triomphe, then you have seen it. Here you can travel the street, visit the shops, see the cafes, and even sample the nightlife. There are some great 360 degree views as well as daily French news and an up to date weather report. You can almost hear the music in the background, and the wineglasses clinking.

Travel can be educational as well. This site is an excellent chance to travel and learn at the same time. There were over 300,000 visitors a few years ago, nowadays 500,000 visitors in the week days, 700,000 visitors in the week-ends, and now all of you combined: 530,000,000 netsurfers.

In the following weeks more and more new features will be added to this site, the Official site of the Champs Elysees, to make it the most beautiful site of all the World Avenues. So keep that beret primed and ready to put on, when you come back to visit again... and again... and again.....

Created in 1860 to help develop the Champs Elysees and changed to an association February 14, 1916 by Louis Vuitton to defend and promote the most beautiful avenue of the World, the Syndiate for the Initiative and the Defense of the Champs Elysees was transformed into the Friends of the Champs Elysees and then in 1980 into the Champs Elysees Committee.
