The Prince of Mime
June 04, 2006
Are you ready for something offbeat?
I'm not really sure how I stumbled into today's FamilyFirst site. All I know is that it's fun, it's funky, and I think you'll like it.
It's called Hanoch Rosenn, the Prince of Mime. He's an Israeli resident who is one of the world's most accomplished in the art of mime.
Now there are some who find street mimes to be a bit annoying. But Rosenn, who started miming in the streets of Europe, now sells out concert halls filled with folks eager to see his act.
And what an act it is! Check out the streaming Real video of him doing his thing. It's a riot!
The site is done in Flash, and it has some good music to browse by (which you can easily switch off).
The links on the bottom are a bit whacked, some dead. But I just found the site to be about ten minutes of pleasant nonsense.
Isn't that what FamilyFirst is all about?
So enjoy the Prince of Mime. And the next time you run into street mimes doing their thing, just remember, you may be looking at the next mime superstar!
