The Roald Dahl Home Page

You probably haven't heard of the man whose site we are featuring in today's FamSite. But I am sure you are very familiar with at least one his works, as it was made into a very popular movie.

The Roald Dahl Home Page is about one of the most popular children's authors of all time, having written books for children of all ages. His most noted work is "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", which was made into a film called "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". He has also written about Danny the Champion of the World and The BFG. Here you can learn about these works, but about his other works and his life in general. It is most interesting to see how varied and exciting his life has been. There are also some fun things to do, such as visit other sites that are recommended, as well as some games and resources for teachers and parents.

This is one of the better sites for children who want to know more about the people who write the books they read. So grab a wonka bar, and head on over for some good times.
