The Size of Our World

The universe is a very big place, indeed.

For that matter, so is our solar system.

But did you ever wonder how familiar heavenly bodies compare against each other for size?

Today's FamilyFirst site does just that. It compares the sizes of the planets, to each other, then to the sun, then to really massive stars.

The sun is a quite large star in itself, but it's really a little less than medium-sized, universally speaking.

You'll get a sense for how big it is when compared with some truly massive stars.

So step out in your yard tonight after viewing today's FamilyFirst pick, and get a real perspective of just how tiny our planetary home is in the universe.
