The Super Handyman

Do you have a leaky faucet? Squeaky door? Loose board?

There's always SOMETHING to fix around the house. That's why all of us, male and female, are occasionally transformed into handyman.

Today's FamilyFirst site is home to the Super Handyman. His name is Al Carrell, and here's his story:

For more than 30 years, Super Al has been dispensing folksy advice on household problems and repairs through his syndicated newspaper column, his radio and TV shows and his books. He has the ability to take things many folks look upon as pure drudgery and make it all seem like fun. And, he has fun doing it! He won't even consider retiring because he really enjoys what he does. The popular "Super Handyman" column, distributed three times a week by King Features Syndicate to hundreds of newspapers nationwide, is the work of Al Carrell (who created the feature in 1968) and his daughter Kelly (who started to share the byline in 1995).

Al is an expert who was around long before Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor. He will enlighten you with lots of handy tips to keep things in shape around the house.
