The Wolfman Jack Official WebSite
October 19, 1998
One of the legends of rock-n-roll is someone who is not known for his musical ability. But the sound of his voice or the mention of his name instantly conjures up visions of hot rods, summer nights, and high school dances. Today's FamSite is about this legend.
The Wolfman Jack Official WebSite is a tribute to the late disc jockey Robert Weston Smith. His distinct voice and command of the English language made him the most recognizable member of his profession. How many of us can't hear his trademark phrase "Have mercy", and not think of the Wolfman. Fans of the George Lucas film "American Graffitti" remember his most memorable film appearance ("Hit parade on the stethoscope?" as one person heard him say). At this site, you can find out about his career, from the start to the finish, view some very memorable photographs, Real Audio and .wav files of his work, as well as a chance to join the Wolfman Fan Club.
Wolfman has left us, way too early, to join Buddy, Richie, J.D., and other rock legends. But this site, lovingly crafted by his family, is one way to enjoy his work. This is a site that is worth bookmarking.

Where can I find a DJ photo of Wolf man Jack.
where can i download wolfman jack voice, howling, midnight special, etc.
The Wolfman had influence me when I was a little girl. My dad use to put the radio on when I was scared and he said sunshine just listen to the wolf and you'll be ok. I'm 37 now and I sure do miss those nights with Wolf and my dad. It's 2004 and he is still loved and missed very much. His memory will out live us all.
God Bless

LATE BREAKING NEWSFLASH!
ASTOR BROADCAST GROUP TO BRING BACK THE WOLFMAN!
Astor Broadcast Group, a San Diego based broadcasting company
has signed a deal to re-tool and bring back and air original programming
recorded by the late, great, howling, prowling Wolfman Jack.
Like Houdini, the Wolfman did vow to return after his death at some
point. Wolfman Jack recorded so much material in his lifetime that he
used to like to say that after he was gone, there would still be enough
fresh Wolfman Jack material to air for the next 300 years!
Since his death on July 1, 1995, he has been on and off the airwaves of
the internet, but this could be the first time he has come back to
commercial radio to stay.
The Astor Broadcast Group owns stations KSPA, KCEO, and KFSD in the San
Diego, South Orange County areas of Southern California. More details
will become available soon.

After such a long time, since Wolfman Jack's visit to me was way back in 1974, his memorious words I will not mention-in respect and thanks-since we may no longer have a chance to speak to one another...
On the preceeding date(last evening)I am happy to say that once again, "it's Wolfman Jack." He was walking this earth from the realms of the sky. And with a smile, as the cloud crossed by in the last moments of light, and without a howl, the Wolfman Jack cloud made me feel good. Just as he did before-back in time. I pointed him out to two friends nearby. "That cloud has Wolfman Jack's face!"
To walk with the clouds, and be living at the same time makes me think and wonder what the cloud's words-if possible-would've said as his wink of an eye crossed between time and space...

Wolfman is still alive.... I seen him in a cruise ship september 20th 2004. Is there two of them? Let me know

CLAP FOR THE WOLFMAN!
Amen! Memories...memories
I'm a dj on radio KKUP, 91.5 in Cupertino, CA. It is a non-commercial, listener supported station, the last of its kind in the United States. I play R & R, R & B, Blues, Soul, Rock-a-Billy, and whatever else feels good. I also have over 150 skits that the Wolf Man used on his shows, and I use them on almost every broadcast. So much fun, and so many memories. Der Wolf brought fun to radio, and great music. My listeners love the Wolf Man stuff, and I love playin' it. Anyone who wants a copy of a broadcast, let me know. With a buzz (and a howl for the Wolf Man), The Fly
Wolfman Jack was on a children's show that I used to watch when I was very little. Unfortunatly I don't remember the show. I would love to find out the name so that I could get a copy. He played a DJ...In a hotel, the show was hosted by dracula and frankenstein etc....Does anyone remember the show or am I just crazy?
Where can I go to see if we can use a WolfMan Jack's Voice alike for a radio ad? We do a big car show for chariety. Would like to do one radio ad.

I am doing research on the old Johnny Reb Radio stations in Georgia (included WDAK, Columbus). Please contact me if you have information about the station(s) that might help me.
Thanks!
Hi,
I am not that old so, I got introduced to him from a tape with oldies and his picture on the cover of the 8 track?
I have found an 8 track of when Wolfman Jack was at Boston Wror. Maybe 1974.I stumbled upon it at a 2nd hand shop, apparently someone taped the radio off of an old shirley bassie tape. Sorry I'm not selling it, its sentimental value is not worth MONEY !!??
